Pre-spawning activity: Copulation 1 – 2 months prior to oviposition. Will spawn in clean glass containers. DO NOT wash with soap, DO NOT feed during oviposition.

Area spawning occurred: vertical surface, 1 – 3 cm above bottom.

Frequency of spawning: for 1-3 nights, spawning females

Egg description: lenticular capsule 3 – 5 mm in may lay 1 -3 capsules per night diameter
